Well the snow arrived! But lucky for us at Daisycups the Snowman and snowdog made a guest appearance.

Work has started created a better back garden, new astro turf installed which enables children to use the outdoors all year round without getting too muddy. (picture to follow as soon as completed)

New shelter installed by Andy over the area outside the back door to create a storage / play area for when the bad weather is here.

Well the school holidays are over and the children are ready to go back to school, 3 New children have joined Daisycups.

The school holidays are here!
Days out have been planned, Cadbury World, Bradford Industrial Museum, Golden Acre Park (Teddy Bear Picnic), Blackpool.
Also had a visit from local Fire station where all the children sat in the fire engine and looked around, then the fun of spraying water from the fire engine, (take a look at the pictures on our photo Gallery)

Andrew and Laura have become accredited childminders - this is a big achievement which has taken alot of time and effort to complete, this has now enabled Daisycups Childminding to offer free government funded places for 3 and 4 year olds (15 hours per week)

Andrew had his first full OFSTED inspection on Tuesday 04th October 2011, the inspection went really well and we have now received our full report, Overall the quality of our setting is GOOD with OUTSTANDING in the effectiveness with which the setting deploys resources,
Andrew also received his qualification in Home Based Child Care which is part of his Diploma in Childcare.

New decking area completed on the back garden along with a new climbing frame for the children to enjoy when they are out there.

Andrew came on board as a full time, fully registered childminder to work along side me. This has given us more scope to ensure the children are cared for on a more 1 to 1 basis and more educational activities are now available.

Andrew completed his training to become an OFSTED registered childminder

Garage conversion has now been complete and is fully equiped with new furniture and equipment and the children are excited about the new space created for them to learn and play in

Conversion of garage to Play room started - hopefully ready for End of March 2011, This will create more space and opportunities for the children to explore new ventures. Our plan is to have all new equipment in the play room for all ages from birth upwards.
Friday 25 February Daisycups visited Hesketh Farm, Bolton Abbey. The day was fun packed and all the children (and adults) had a fantastic time. Photos to follow on photo gallery

Daisycups first anninversary - opened 1 year ago
In September 2010 our new addition to family arrived Hannah Rose Maddock, who is now 13 months old and doing really well, Really enjoys the company of all children we currently care for.
