About Us
Daisycups has been operating in Holmewood, Bradford, BD4 since 2009, It is run by Laura and Andrew Maddock (Husband and Wife) who are both OFSTED Registered Childminders.
Our last inspection was in April 2019 where we were both graded OUTSTANDING.
Children are accepted from the age of three months upwards.
Daisycups opening hours are 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am-4:30pm on a Friday - but can be flexible.
Whilst children are in our care we provide a safe and stimulating environment from the comfort of our home. Encouraging children to develop in play and gain confidence whilst in our care. We have a designated play room set out much like a little class room offering malleable play, messy play, sensory play, quiet time and much more…….
Our outdoor space consists of a large garden with plenty of hours of fun, a designated shaded area for those hot summer days we have!!! And most of all it is a safe a secure area.
We have been married 15 years and have 2 daughters, we live in a nice area of Holmewood in a detached property, providing us with plenty of space indoor and out.
There are local parks and toddler groups in the area, which we can take your child to if permission is given. There is also a nice area to take children to see the local horses on the farm.

Ø Passed Introduction to Childminding and gained a certificate
Ø Passed Business Management and have gained a certificate
Ø Passed a Health Declaration with certificate
Ø Passed Child Paediatrics First Aid and gained a 3-year qualification and certificate
Ø Passed Diploma in Home-based Childcare Level 1 and gained a certificate
Ø Passed inspection from the Early Years team in Bradford registered childminder
Ø Passed an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Check with certificate childminding Association Level 2
Ø Passed Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People’s Workforce (QCF)
We are both fully insured by PACEY and hold a Public Liability Certificate. We comply with requirements set out by Bradford Early Years, and meet all of the requirements of OFSTED. Our home is set out in a safe and secure environment and also meets the Fire Regulation Standards.
